The Effects of the Recession on Network Marketing

Q: I've been working with a network marketing business and am worried about what others are saying about our current economic situation. What impact will this have on my company? Should I put my energies into this part-time company now, in these uncertain times? Should I prioritize retail consumers or the development of my sales organization? A: I'll leave it to the economists to determine whether or not we're in a recession. However, as someone who has worked full-time in direct sales and network marketing through periods of failing economic indicators, inflation, unemployment, layoffs, and so on, I have some views on the subject.
